Brakes Broken?
i let my car sit for like 4 months this winter. i recently started it up and took it for a spring spin. i noticed that there's a little grinding when the brakes are off. and they are rough when engaged. my guess is the thick amount of rust on the rotors.
i only drove it for a few minutes. i'm wondering if i need new pads/rotors or something because they sat in shitty weather for so long

i doubt that you need new ones.....just need to "scratch" off all the old gunk from the rotors....although, it wouldnt be a bad idea to get new rotors/pads depending on wear
do i need to scratch it off by hand? or will normal daily braking get it off in time?
i have fairly new powerstop slotted rotors and nissin pads
i dont wanna replace now
