Boost Upgrade Kit?
I have a 97 type r. #339. I currenly have a jr supercharger on it. Do you think that it would be wise to go with the Boost Upgrade Kit? Or is the stock compression to high?
Stock ITR engine will be fine with jrsc up to 10 psi. You will need new fuel pump, BTC, MAP controller, or some other sort of fuel management to prevent detonation. Also, I would suggest a stepper pulley from MVM or a different crank pulley instead of the jrsc upgrade. The jrsc is a smaller blower pulley. The smaller pulley means less surface area, so belt slippage is more likely.
