wondering about this Jrsc & CRV pulley
I have a JRSC and am wondering about the crv pulley for my set up.
The question is what extra modifactions, and adjustments do I need to account for the added boost.
This is my current setup:
JRSC super charger
MAP controler (by jrsc)
220 fuel pump
Comptech headers
2.5in exaust

You'll need big fuel injectors and a way to control them.
I went with 320cc Venom injectors and lots of band-aids. I'd go standalone if I did it again, but all the cool toys came out after I made this mod.

Re: wondering about this Jrsc & CRV pulley (Holden)
I've been checking into the CRV pulley also. I have a 98 ITR. I was wondering how much it would increase the boost on my jrsc. Do you know where I could find out for sure? I don't want to go over 10 psi on my stock engine.
Jackson Racing told me that the stock injectors (don't know the size) in my Type-R would work fine if I increased the boost, but I had gotten the fuel pump upgrade when I originally installed the supercharger. All they recommended for me was cooler plugs and thermostat.
Good luck with the boost up. Let me know what you think when you get it installed.

The amount of boost is different on each of the B series motors. YOu will need bigger injectors for extra boost though, don't listen to Jackson racing.

Re: wondering about this Jrsc & CRV pulley (:hammer:)
I didn't start this thread, but I am very interested in hearing from anyone who used the CRV pulley with a jrsc on a ITR. My car is a daily driver and needs to last a while. I don't go to the track, but, of course, I push it pretty hard sometimes on the street. How long will my stock engine last at 10 psi. Also, do I need to get bigger injectors? My next project will be a fuel management system, but not until next Christmas. Thanks.
Hey, ski2001, you live in one of the most beautiful places in the country. What kind of car are you boosting?

He'd better be careful with that thing, 16 PSI on a JRSC, damn the air temp must be like 5 million degrees! Hope he's running water injection!

Re: wondering about this Jrsc & CRV pulley (Ski2001)
Im bosting a 2000 Civic SI, and thanks for all the input all this stuff might have to wait until the summer when I can work more.
What I got from you guys is that I need, in addition to the pulley:
Bigger injectors 320cc ish
Colder Plugs
Thermostat
New fuel mangemnet system
I would appreicate a little more detial on the last one. Will the stock computer handel the bigger injectors? Or is that a must have. Also I live at 6500 ft will this make a difference.
Thanks

Re: wondering about this Jrsc & CRV pulley (Jackson4Door)
I had a EG hatch B18C1 w/JRSC and a CRV pulley; it(CRV pulley) gave me 11.5 psi. I would really recommend some method of timng retard such as a MSD BTM.

Re: wondering about this Jrsc & CRV pulley (TurboR1391)
On a Type R with the stock size pulley on the blower( 4.2") you will have 10-11 psi depending on your setup, ie. header, exhaust and cam settings. Remember the B16 will be 2-3 psi higher as it is a smaller motor. You can run this much boost on a stock blower, afetr that I would recomend sending it to Endyn and have it worked.
At this much boost I would recomend also , ditch all the those bandaids and get a proper programble computer, Hondata, AEM etc. It will be tuned easier and will be safer and the car will feel a whole lot better.
