Anyone know what the maximum boost would be if I added a J&S safegaurd to my drag3 turbo type r setup? I have been at 8 lbs. for a year now and the car never detonates. I have the MSD boost retard module, but I have never had to touch it.

What's your compression ratio?

 

The engine is stock compression and is not built-up. I have not tested the car in the 1/4 mi. or dyno, but the performance increase with adding the turbo is unreal and it is the ultimate mod in my opinion. The amount of $ people spend for mods that yeild virtually no power gains is amazing. This one does add power, big time.

How much would it cost to build the engine to handle more boost? How much can you boost then? I am not sure its worth the $ for another 4 lbs. of boost.
