p28 question

Default p28 question

I have a 95 intgera RS that I put a 98 gsr engine into , my question is if i have a chipped p28 ; when i plug it into the car do i have to run wiring for the vtec , knock or evap etc ? thanks

if you are using your stock wiring harness youll have to add 3wires for VTEC and one for knock sensor.and youll need to use OBD1 ecu ,injectors,and distributor.just use your stock ones just on the distributor youll have to chop one of the legs off to make room for vtec purge assembly.oh yeah if you are using the stock intake manifold from the gsr you CANT use the p28.it doesnt have the sensors for the secondary butterflies so youll have to find a p72.or you can just get a skunk2 im then the p28 will work just fine.

or you can go nuts and just remove the butterflies...not recomended....very ghetto...but i have seen it done

WELL im ghetto cause i removed the butterflies , i hope it was worth it
