Just about every-other day or so the idle won't stay up when the engine is warming up. (1.5l 3bbl) At just under 1 minute from kick-down the idle will start dropping to normal, THEN kick down- but it kicks down to below normal. I have to keep the throttle open a bit to hold the idle correct... that is until at about the temperature that the second kick-down occurs- then everything's fine again.
The problem is this doesn't happen every time the engine warms up, so I can't find any consistency (except for maybe a 5-10 degree ambient temperature difference.)
Anyone wanna take a crack at a guess? It did this before I had the carb overhauled, and again before I had the fuel cutoff solenoid replaced. There ain't much more to replace on this thing.
