Default K20A Engine Swap

I have a VW GTi VR6, but was looking to come back to the Honda family. Im wanting to know what model is the best to swap the K20A engine in, and if anybody on here has done the swap? I was looking to swap the K20A into a 92-95 hatchback. What kind of custom work am I looking at doing? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

You'll need the custom k20 mounts. Pacman is selling EK mounts but I think he said he'll hve eg mounts soon.

please search
this has been asked many times

and IMO its not worth the money right now

maybe in a year or 2 but for now its a waste of perfectly good money. for the 7000 your gonna spend on it i would build a GSR motor for boost, then turbo it. and run 11's

I'm with kamin on this one. Why spend $6500-7000 on a k20 when you can get a b18c1 for $3000 and a good turbo kit for $3000 tops. That's still $500-1000 cheaper. Plus the b series engine swap into a eg civic is pretty much a bolt in procedure where a k20 takes a lot of time and money to complete.

I say give it at least 2 years before the prices become reasonable and the hype mellows out a little bit. but yeah k20 is the future for hondas hybrids.

The K series blocks weigh less.
On an EK it is a straight bolt in, you need to change the subframe and thats it. Easy install, already seen Dr. Charles's.

passwordJDM has the jdm k20a for $4999. They also have 99 spec b18c5 $4799. Not much in price difference.
