Hey guys...I have to get a B16A head for my LsVtec...on the parts trader they range from 300- 600$. I called K. Wantanabe and the quoted me 550 shipped for a just the B16 motor w/no tranny...has anyone ever orderd from them...did you have a good expierence of bad? lemme know asap...thanks

I heard alot of their motors are overheated engines. Most places will give you a startup warranty, they dont give any warranty AT ALL!!!

Hey its your money, you get what you pay for. BTW i have a B16A longblock for sale for $450. And it has GSR cams, and is currently running in my civic(rebuilding the GSR for more power :'). Shipping i have no idea.

 

One of my friends got his B16A1 there with no tranny for around 300$. It really makes a difference if you are able to go there in person, that way you can be sure you get everything that's supposed to come with the motor and I bet they wouldn't even mind if you popped the valve cover off to get a good look @ the head. Plus people tend to treat other people better when they are actually there instead of looking at an address on a shipping document.--------Good luck and let us know how it goes!

 

I've been there in person. Big wharehouse full of all kinds of motors and other engine parts.
I have NOT bought anything from them - but I've heard nothing bad about them.
Maybe look at it this way:
If you do get a B16A from them... for $550.00 get it and spend a few extra bucks on some good new/used internals from a reliable source.
Then after than you'll be set with a partialy new B16A.
