okae ive been havign a problem with my car...the starter has been pretty weak...i found out that my starter terminal was loose so i began to tighten it...as i was doing so i tapped something and it SPARKED!...[i know stoopid me for not unplugging the terminal...]now when i tried to start my car nothing happend...i fergot to plug my spark plug wires back in...now when i attach the battery cable...it tries to start up and smoke comes from my battery terminal...it melts into it! why is my car trying to start when theres no KEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please someone help...im going nuts!!!!!!!!!

You may have screwed up the starter relay, freezing it in the "on" position.

 

how would i fix that!?!?

 

You have a short in the terminal wire, make sure it's not frayed and touching the chasis.

Around the connector. Also inspect for damage to the battery.
