do I have obd1 or obd2?
before you jump into conclusion, please understand that I have a 94 gsr chasis with 97 ls engine. Yestoday when I was insalling my catback I took off of the catalyst converstor and I found an o2 sensor, that has been cut. That's funny because I thoguht obd2 have 2 o2 sensor, one on the cat and one on the exhaust manifold. The one on exhaust manifold is intact, I tried to look for the other o2 sensor or signs of its prior existance but I couldn't find it. So do I have obd1 or obd2?
cel is not on or I'd already know the answer
how do I check the ecu model? do I have to pull it out and give you guys the model number such as p28?

I think 97 LS engine is a obdII. I have an 1996 GSR obdII, my o2 sensors are both on the cat- convertor. Are you using your cat back from your 94 gsr? I believe those are obdI.

this will sound dumb but where is the ecu? i tried to locate it it under the dash, but I've only found cruise control, is it right behind the fuses? if so it doesn't look easy to remove
I located the ecu and the middle number reads p75, which is an obd2 b18b1 ecu.
Well, where is my 2nd o2 sensor?! How come I am not throwing any CEL?
