Default 94ls motor in 90 integra

This is my first post in the integra forum. I stick to ef forum. I just bought a 90ls teg with a bad motor. I have a 94 ls motor i will install tuesday. I am only going to use the block and head from b18b. Is there any differences in b18a & b18b block and head?

Well, i got the motor out without a problem. When i started switching the harness from the old motor to the b18b i noticed the block was missing some sensors. I looks like i can take the plug out of the b18b for the one but what about the wires?

b18b

b18a

It's funny. If i asked a question about "vtech" or clear tailights i would of had 30 replies already. 0h-well.

take misc. sensors from the b18b out. just switch everything form the b18a onto the b18b. it's all a direct fit and there are holes for everything in the both of them. switch im and distributors also.

*bump* cause I'd be interested in seeing if there are any power gains from doing this.

I haven't put it back in yet. I guess i will leave the 2 wires unhooked? I wish somebody had a clue what the hell it is though. I am going to put it back in on thursday.. I'll find out if it makes a difference then.

The two wires activate the radiator fan when the motor gets too hot.
