the engine ur friend has its a DPFI with very lower power......
turbo will not make a lot of power.... specially all those engines are beaten, crappy and not mod friendly.... but i fhe insist of turboing that car i wich him luck....
first of all the DPFI will not provid the enought fuel for a turbo

i can see right now that engine blowing or overheating after 5 min o fdriving and over 3 k rpms... or more than 2 psi of boost...

definately do an MPFI swap first!!!

the dpfi TB is too restrictive to allow the air to come through and as stated above, the 2 very small injectors won't supply the fuel needed.

Is there a good site with instructions and what you need to do a MPFI swap? A site or link with knowledgable people would be great because I don't want to screw anything up. Also, is this swap really that hard? I'm not really mechanically-inclined

do not turbo a dpfi motor. swap it to mpfi 1st then turbo. wont be able to flow **** for air. wont be able to get **** for fuel.

I agree with everyone else about swapping to MPFI ( VERY worth the PITA !! ), but my DPFI suppied enough fuel for my 75 shot of nitrous... I can't see a turbo adding 75hp to a D15b2 with out MPFI...

I'm not aproving the use of DPFI intake with a turbo, but fuel might not be a problem... I had the stock 155K mile fuel pump too...
