Default exhaust questions

Ok, I have a full Apexi dunk catback exhaust on my 93 civic ex with a b18c1 in it. its not mad ricey, its actually pretty deep, but man its huge, and crazy loud! it sounds like a supra without the turbo, lol, almost like a 747 jet, as loud too. what could be a good rear section to get, something quiet enough to hear the intake ripping through v-tec yet not restricting too much airflow. my current exhaust is 2 1/2 inches cat back. anyone got any ideas or suggestions on sound and quality? thanks.

I heard that. my mods are simply a 1995 j-spec b18c1 with dc sports header, generic high flow cat, and the exhaust. I have a mugen chipped p28, and some shitty wires...lol. thats about all i could afford at the time, and I got a great deal on the exhaust. but I really can't hear myself think. I was thinking N1(spoon), or mugen twin loop, 5zigen fireball...never heard any. heard a thermal on a type R tho- sounded sweet, but his is totally custom made. so...oh well.

n1 will be just as loud, get the mugen twin loop witht the header if you can afford it. great nice and quiet exhaust.

You get what you pay for. Well, most of the time. I have yet to hear of anyone that is disapointed with thier products. (Mugen, Spoon)

IMO just get a straigt pipe all the way from the headers. maybe a cat or resanator if you have to.
