Boost Gauge help!!!
I installed my boost gauge, its an autometer 35 psi boost gauge and doesnt have vacuum on it, the lowest it goes is 0. Anyway, I dont have a turbo, but I have one coming in, I installed the boost gauge early, well anyway what I am getting at is that hte needel doesnt move AT ALL!! is this normal? I know that I am not boosting, but I would expect a little movement. THank you.
where do you have the gauge hooked up to. If you wanted to measure manifold vacuum you could take your manifold. You should see a difference at idle and then at different throttle levels....if you care that much. Or just leave it alone until you actually need it.

the guage he has doesnt read vacume....i think u should get a new guage which shows both boost and vacume...and u wont see any movement in the needle bc if ure car doesnt have a turbo or sc u wont see any boost and the guage wont read anything above 0 ever
