Default ITR 5 lug conversion for an 6th gen Civic

Is it possible? What parts would I need for the conversion?

front knuckles complete with calipers/rotors
rear complete with trailing arms, e-cables, brake lines (good time to upgrade to stainless)

also M/C, prop. valve from disc/disc setup is worth changing to, 15/16" to 1" is the best....

its more of a look thing then actual improvement in braking or lightweight wheels...

for about $2000, you can get some willwood calipers (4 or 6 pot), rear disc conversion and some lighteight wheels, which outbrakes the ITR brakes, looks better and is lighter.

Hmm, that sound interesting. If I were to go that route, what would I need just the rear trailing arms for the rear disc conversion?

$2000 even seems like a high estimate (for a budget guy like me). http://www.fastbrakes.com has the wilwood big brakes for ~$600, rear disc conv for ~350, and you can get rota c8's for $400.

ack, i just checked fastbrakes and their new website doesn't list prices, but i know they're close to what i listed.

no point, unless your drums are overheating. get performance shoes.

I disagree that it is more looks than performance. For one you get bigger brakes that don't fade as bad at the track. Bigger master cylinder. Also the 5-lug adds strength over the 4-lug as well as the track on a Type R is 10mm wider than any other Integra which results in the wheels being pushed out another 5mm on all corners compared to a non Type R. Wider is better. See lots of benifits besides looks.

yes that is very true, and since these are OEM, you know the parts will fit perfectly, plus all parts are readily available at your local Acura dealer.
