Default DC Sports 4-2-1 vs. Comptech 4-2-1 for LS?

Ok guys, I hope you can help me out. I already did a search but couldn't find an answer I was looking for. I have a 95 LS teg with a DC Sports 4-1 header with 2.25" outlet connected to a 2.25" carsound cat to an ITR catback with the bottleneck removed for a full 2.25" exhaust right now.

Unfortunately, this past winter in NYC, snow covered roads + potholes = fucked up header. The two bottom pipes of my header are banged up to hell.

I've been looking into buying the JDM ITR 4-1 so I could get the Fastline skidplate but I don't think I should be going from a 2.5" header to a 2.25" cat and exhaust. That being said, I've been looking for a used header to replace the one I have now. My choices are as follows:

1) DC Sports 4-2-1 ceramic coated header w/2.25" outlet (comes with all gaskets-exhaust gasket, o-rings bewteen the 2 pieces, and the donut where it hooks up to the cat) $175 shipped

or

2) Comptech 4-2-1 stainless steel header w/2.25" outlet (not sure what gaskets if any comes with it) $250 shipped

Which do guys suggest? Although my initial thoughts were to get the Comptech one, I'm not sure if it's worth the $75 difference in price. Thanks in advance.

yeah save up for the jdm 4-1, but also depends on if you want low-mid or high end, obivousl 4-1 is gonna give you high end which is what most people want. But its up to you

Thanks for your replies so far guys, but like I said before, my cat and my catback are both 2.25" while the JDM 4-1 has a 2.5" outlet. From what I've read on this site, isn't it a bad thing to go down in diameter as you're going away from the engine? I'm trying to keep the diameter consistent from header to catback which is why I'm considering one of the two above. Keep the comments/suggestions coming guys. Thanks again.

For an LS he should get a 4-2-1 not the JDM 4-1

Maybe we should ask him what his power goals are? And where he wants the powerband to be located. Different headers for different applications. Not all LS should get 4-2-1

The collectors on those headers are 2.0" , not 2.25"

I don't know of any mass produced 2.25" collector for integras.

But I would definetly go with comptech. It has a stepped design, which will prevent exhaust reversion and thus increase exhaust flow and performance. The DC SPorts is cheap, and performs cheap. My guess is it will crack along a weld at some point, mind did not to long after I got it.

The Comptech header is FAR superior to the DC 4-2-1.

You get what you pay for in this situation. I suggest go with the Comptech. That's what's on my wishlist!!

I'd go with the Comptech 4-2-1, since that's what I'm going to buy. Is the Comptech Header used? Because $250 is a cheap price if its new.

Ok you're right. I just confirmed that the DC is actually a 2" outlet. Do you know if the Comptech is also a 2" outlet or is it a 2.25" as the seller claims?

I guess I'll be going with the Comptech one. I just hope the seller hasn't sold it already.

DOH! The Comptech was sold! I guess I snooze, I lose.

How did you like the DC 4-1 on your LS?
I still have the DC 4-1 on my car right now. To be honest, I like it a lot, I definitely feel the topend power although it seems a bit slower now that the two bottom pipes are dented to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if the air flow was less than a stock header.
