CTR C.R.???????
What is the Civic type-r compression ratio...and if i were to get these pistons, would they be able to fit into a b18a block...and also...JDMhondaparts is selling them .25 oversized what does that mean?
.25 oversized means that they cylinders have been rehoned which is common in any block rebuild...where they take the cylinder out .25 to get rid of any defects....the CTR pistons will fit in your motor..BUT....you A don't want vtec pistons in a non vtec motor...and B: the C/R will NOT be the same as it would in a b16 block...the differance in rod length, and deck hight changes it...basically this would not be a good idea for you engine

yeah that is the common figure, unless you have some real damage...it just gets all the little knicks and scratches from you rings out of the cylinder wall, and gives it that cross stitch looking pattern again. correct me if I'm wrong...but I think its actually .025 over, not .25 I dunno
OK, with no overbore it should be 10.89 CR. If you bore it over, you will have a little bit more displacement and the CR will INCREASE, but very slightly. The overbore, as said above, will clean the inner surface of the cylinder, and so smooth over mild imperfections. That is a standard overbore for this piston set, and many places can get you the .025 over pistons more easily....
