Running a P28 instead of P13..

Default Running a P28 instead of P13..

in an H22a , will there be any problem? the p28 is stock .. what are the pro's and con's if running a stock p28 instead of P13.. thanks guys

pro: no egr and no ks codes will be thrown!

con: fuel maping not quite upto par with the p13, although this can be changed with a program chip or hondata unit.

is this the only con? why then doesnt everyone just use the p28?

The p28 does not have secondary butterflies control. If you run with a chipped p28 on a h22 then the iabs are going to be open all the time, resulting in a lose in power and torque down low. However you can run the iabs straight off vacuum so that they only open up under half throttle to open throttle.

I offer an h22a program for the p28. Hondata would also be another good choice for the p28.
