B20 driver's side engine mount problem?
Some sites/posts refer to a problem with the b20's driver side engine mount post. Some say it has to be replaced with another b series engine mount post to work. Any truth to this? BTW, I'm swapping a JDM B20b into an EG.
Pic shows a little bit of the mount, sorry I couldn't find a better pic:

If you are swapping this into an EG, the stock B20 timing belt mount bracket will not work. I'm not familiar with what mounts you need for it to fit, sorry.
If you were swapping that into an EK, that mount WOULD work...because it's the one I'm using and it fits perfectly.

For the eg you need to get the integra side mount and metal bracket that bolts to the side of the engine. You have to take the crank pulley off to get to the bracket. So good luck. Not to bad.
Nah... just pull the one off of your SOHC Civic motor. That's what I did when I threw my B20 into my EG hatchback (used a D15 CX motor bracket) and it works perfectly. That way you can still use the Civic driver side mount as well w/out having to get the Integra mount (unless you really want to).
FYI, the B20 driver side cast-iron engine bracket is the same as for a 99-00 Si (or for any EK swap for that matter) so you can save it and sell it to anyone who wants to throw a OBD-1 motor into their EK Civic.
