Will Crv mounts work?

Will Crv mounts work?
I'm planning on doing a crvtec swap in my eg hatch and was wondering if the b20 mounting brackets will work or if I have to get b16 and b18 mounting brackets

You cannot use the driver's side engine bracket from the B20 in the EG... you will need to match up to the driver's side engine mount you intend to use in the EG. If it is a two bolt mount that you intend to use, you will need the engine bracket from a '99-00 Civic Si. If your stock mount, or the mount you intend to use is a three bolt mount, you will need to use a '94-01 Integra bracket.

I don't think so... but I am not sure. The EG upper transmission mount and rear mount will work just fine, or you can replace them with '94-01 Integra mounts for a little less engine movement. You will also need the Integra front transmission torque mount bracket although you will need to use the Civic rubber frame rail mount unless you drill the spot welds off the underside of the frame rail so that the flat Integra torque mounts bolt up flush.

Re: Will Crv mounts work?
It may, but it certainly depends on the year. In my experience, specifically with the '96-00 Civic chassis, it is always best for the total function of the vehicle to use the engine harness found in the car originally and modify it accordingly.

You can't use the CR-V chassis mounts in an EG, however you can use the cast iron timing belt post mount in an EG if you use the black steel driver's side rubber mount that was used in most EGs (all except '94 - '95 with vtec engines)
You can't use the CR-V harness. If it happens to be a 5 speed CR-V harness sell it, it should be worth something, and they're great for dropping an LS or B20 into a '99 - '00 Civic.
If you want to make it a really easy swap put a '94 - '95 LS intake on the engine, use a set of 240CC OBD1 injectors (D15B7, D16Z6, any OBD1 B-series) an OBD1 alternator and an OBD1 LS distributor. Then all you need to do is extend a few wires.

Re: Will Crv mounts work?
No, this is incorrect. The stud spacing and angle does line up with the two hole driver's side mount, however, the install height is dramatically different. If you attempt to use this combination, the engine will NOT sit level in the bay... the oil pan will be nearly two inches closer to the ground than it should be. The proper driver's side engine bracket (post mount as you called it) would only be the '99-00 Civic Si if you intend to use the two bolt style driver's side stock engine mount.
