B20 > EG
Hey all Im almost done with my b20 build. However I have come across something that I read, I will have to change my timing belt side post mount because it will sit uneven in my bay? (The motor currently has the 2 bolt post mount)
The motor will be going into a 93 civic ex.
I was not aware of this if this is true.
I just assumed I could use my OE civic driver side mount since they were the same bolt pattern. Never would of thought it would not sit level.
Confused on this mount thing

Yes, the CRV engine bracket on the left side will cause the timing belt end of the engine to sit LOWER than normal, so the engine will NOT sit level in the engine bay. Switching to either a '99-00 Civic Si engine bracket (if you intend to use a two-bolt mount) or a '94-01 Integra bracket (if you intend to use a three-bolt mount) will cure your problem.
Factory OE Bracket part numbers: '00 Civic Si = 11910-P30-000 and the Integra bracket = 11910-P72-000

Re: B20 > EG
hey thank you for the reply ! This has saved me a lot. I would of ended up pulling my motor and been screwed. Thankfully I enjoy to read a lot on here. The forum I was mainly using didnt mention nothing about changing the post mount. I will be adding that to the list of parts.
