don't go to the dealer. If you do it is around 400-500 i think. I bought a whole timing belt package from inlinefour.com for around 160 and i am about to get a friend to install it for probably around 125

I recommend talking to the parts dept. at Honda and get a list of the parts needed for the job. Once you've done that, go to hondaautomotiveparts.com and enter the part numbers in. Their prices are unbeatable.

Benefit: You get the exact parts that the dealer would use for a fraction of the cost.

Installation: I would pay a friend whose done this many times before or has personal exp. with your motor in particular.

Cost: $270 Parts and Installation. Dealer cost: $600-700.

Hope that helps, Good Luck!!

MAKE SURE you get Honda OEM fasteners for the crank pulley bolt. If you try to reuse the old ones, you are looking at a lot of frustration and stuff braking. The old bolt cannot be re-used. Make sure to follow the manual specs to torque that bolt back in.

Just trying to save frustration.
