CLOSE call last night...
It hailed here once again.
I was with my gf and she suggested I take my car back to its garage and swap it for my hybrid. I thought it was just going to rain...normal storm. Well I took her advice and swapped cars. Shortly after the sky turned a yellowish-orange with dark black clouds forming ( = tornadic). Then the hail came.
It wasn't quite as bad as it's been before, but it still could've done some damage.
We haven't had hail here in like 5 years. Now we've had it 4-5 times this year. Once already we had BASEBALL sized strike the airport. It just ruined cars and airplanes. My hybrid has gotten hit by golfball sized. Last night it was only marble sized hail. Either way this SUCKS!

I had a close call over the weekend....
I was behind some guy in a Wrangler (lift & big tires). I was watching him (what little I could see because he was sitting about roof level to me
) and I could see that he was not paying attention to driving, so I give him some room. Needless to say, he crosses over into the lane next to him. At first, I thought he wanted to move over, but even I would not have tried to squeeze into the gap between the two cars in that lane. I realized that it was just because he wasn't looking at the road, and so does he. He jerks the wheel back and BRAKES. Big NO NO. He then proceeds to do a complete 360 in traffic across a 3 lane expressway, on 2 wheels @ 45 degrees (but did not flip over!). Amazingly enough, he did not hit ANYTHING, and just ended up pointed in the wrong direction. I could see his heart in his throat.

hehehehe I was outside last night watching the storm, and i went inside to grab some cookies. Well it started to hail, and my mom goes "Justin is your car outside?" and I was like "Yeah it's in the driveway. Its just hail, I dont care"
And then it stopped. And then I went back to my place.

Yeah Justin, but your GSR is already beat down...so I can see why you wouldn't care. I sure as hell didn't care about my hybrid being out in that ****.

He is very, very, VERY lucky he didn't turtle that Jeep. Too many kids around here have lifted Wranglers and whatnot and don't know how to drive them on the street. Jerking wheel = not good.
Actually there sometimes is hail in so.cali... i remember when i was a kid ( bout 8-10 years ago) there were hail storms and we would go out and throw hail at each other.. sigh.. the good ol' days.. no R tho.
