Whats the compression suppose to be on built h23???

Default Whats the compression suppose to be on built h23???

This is on an h23 with GE sleeves, stock bore JE 9:1. Im getting 2 answers 160 and 180. Which is it?

180 would sound moreso right to me.. but i dont have 9:1.. my stock numbers are 210

Any reason u think 180 is more-so right? Is there some sort of formula for this?

if I am correct the stock CR is 9:1 and thus shouldn't really yeild any powr gains if your only installing factory spec forged internals if anything the only boost in power you should see is the engine going from its tired state to a refreshed state due to fresh internals, so in my opinion you should be at stock levels of 160 pushing 165 if you're running total seal rings which i have seen noticeable increases in hp from dyno charts

i lost hp when i went to 9:1. No way stock compression ratio was 9:1.

Thanks. Those r awesome numbers, whats ur setup?

Also anyone have compression numbers on a healthy built 9:1 h23?

you are wrong...the stock compression ratio of the h23 is 9.8:1

yeah you're right my mistake, oh wait hmm are you sure becuase i just read it was more so 9.6:1 either way you dropped your compression guy and so thinking 160 or 180 is totally off you're probably making 155 of course this is just a guesstimate if i was an engineer I could give you more exact numbers but neverthless you can expect a power drop
