obd1-obd0 distributor replacement
I obviously made a mistake here. When I took the obd1 distributor off of my b16a that i got from my friend so that i could put the correct 0bd0 distributor on that would work with my CRX, i didnt mark anything, i just unscrewed the distributor and slid it straight out. After the fact, i was told that i should have marked something, and now i dont know how to get the timing right on the new distributor. Can anybody please help me?
Well, to begin with, you should have set the engine to TDC. Then, you simply should have pulled the dizzy out. it would line up close to correctly, and then you adjust the timing by moving it back or forth... the distributor only goes in one way, it's keyed. So, maybe put the motor to TDC and then install it?
gotcha. Thanks, guys. if my timing is off slightly, i should be able to drive it somewhat though, right? enough to at least get it somewhere that i can adjust the timing(to be honest, i dont even know how to adjust the timing.)
Im completely new at this.

Just put the dizzy in and set the timing from the dizzy itself, like he said by moving it back and forth. Adv/Ret.
