Need Help w/ lowering my GF's Prelude
Hi guys,
I'm an integ owner and my gf purchased a 2001 prelude. I was wondering if you can give me a litlle bit of advice in choosing the right suspension setup.
I am looking for Eibach Ground Controls for her ride, but I can;t seem to find anywhere that is offering it for a nice decent price. Can't find it on Ebay either.
Also, in regards to the GC, will it be a soft smooth ride or will it be all bumpy? I have GC myself and they are nice and smooth, and not stiff like skunk2's.
And last but not least, when I drop her car do you guys recommend me to change out her shocks while I am at it? The shocks only has 25k miles on them. Wat about alignment and a camber kit?
Alright that's all for now. TIA

I've got a 2" drop via H&R race springs and stock shocks. You really do need aftermarket shocks. I personally didn't need an alignment, but it all depends on how much you drop the car.
I just put on H&R sport and KONI shocks. I love the way it rides and turns now. It is slightly stiffer feeling on the highway than stock, but not bad at all, and turning is great! I didnt need an alignment either. But it doesnt look like it drop the 1.5" it "claimed" it was gonna.......
Haven't heard much or seen eibachs personally though so i can't help you there, sorry

get some TEIN SS Coilovers...for $50 more you have one of the best if not the best coilovers on the market for the prelude...true coilovers, fully adjustable and you can set the stiffness/softness...also the SS are the closest thing to stock
