Default Greddy Timer

Well I just finished installing my Greddy full auto timer using these instructions

"from the timer harness green, that goes to the yellow wire, red goes to the big fat white wire, (there are two white wires you need the fatter one), the blue wire goes to the black wire with the yellow stripe, black to ground!"

It works perfectly fine, that is, until i turn my lights on...As soon as i turn my lights on, the timer turns off along with the a/f gauge and the lights for my boost gauge...Can someone help me out or tell me if these instructions are sufficient or if i wired it correctly? Also, the timer only goes up to 1 min. and 30 seconds, is that enough time to cool the turbo? TIA

thanks...does that work though? I guess i should just reverse it...its snowing outside right now here in VA so i'll have to wait until it stops...can anyone else confirm this?

Also, is the 1 min. and 30 sec. enough for "cooling" time?

My bro has an apexi and it ususally takes about a minute and a half as well. That looks like the standard time. However I thought the Greddy would determine the time to how hard you ran the car.

yea the full auto supposed to be able to determine how long to cool down if hooked up properly. i still have the older greddy tt and in manual mode and i choose from 10 sec to 9min 50 sec in 10 sec increments

yeah mine isnt hooked up properly, yet...i think to get that option you have to connect the wire to the speed sensor...i'll be doing that soon...so a min and a half is good? cool, i thought the norm was around 3mins?

for listening to friends that dont know much
