VSS, speed senor problem HELP!!!!
I was wondering if anyone else is have the same problem as me and if so how to go about fixin' it...I have a '99 EX Coupe and my speedometer jumps all over the place, mainly when it is over 3000 rpm...I have replaced the actual speed sensor and the plug that plugs into the speed sensor....I was wondering if there is a possibility that two wires may be touching one another and if not what is it and how can I fix it?

Yeah...that didn't fix it...today I'm going to go out and reconnect all of the wires better...I think that two of them may be touching....

when my speedo started dying all i had to do was get oil out of the vss connector plug and everything returned back to normal. no clue how it got in there, but it fixed the problem. maybe you didn't even need to change yours?
