Vehicle speed sensor problems?

I just replaced my vehicle speed sensor after it crapped out on me and now the speeedometer occasionally flutters, usually when accelareting, while maintaining a constant speed it works fine. Any ideas?

was it a plug-in harness ordeal? or did it involve splicing wires? if so, i would try soldering the wires if you didn't...

hope ya figure it out!

check the plug to see if it's ok, i replaced two vss before i looked at the plug, turned out to be rusted

Corroded wires gave me the same problem.
