Default What catch can do you use?

Just wondering what you guys/gals use. Im not sure if baffled is worth it or now. SRR ones are only about 60 bux...

So ya, What brand?, is it baffled or not? and do you like it?

EDIT: this is for my daily driver. not tracked at all. Maybe in the future it will.

Just that I took off my IM this week..and oil dripped out, lol, PCV valve was replace like 3k ago...it sounds bad already tho...doesnt move inside. So ya..and I burn oil...imagine that..

baffled oil pan makes sense.

i'm not sure what the purpose is behind a baffled catch can...can someone elaborate on this?

TIA

Baffling of the oil can prevents blow by of oil "mist" from the inlet to the outlet of the can. Someone once told me that the SSR can has 90° elbows inside the can so baffling would not be required in this case.

PS - I've never seen an SSR catch can before so I'm not sure if those elbows exist in the can or not.

I bought one but ended up selling it because it was simply too huge. My small brain couldn't think of anywhere to mount it in the engine bay. I have A/C and P/S btw.

Yes I got one out of impulse. Waste of money IMO. There's nothing inside it, just a big stupid empty can.

I emptied my catch can the other day (haven't done that in approx 3000 miles). There was 250 ml of oil in there at least. I'm using a cusco one.

If I had to purchase one now, I would go with the Jaz.
The cusco one was a gift

they do exist..but even then additional baffling is required.... in this case, I stuffed mine with SS scouring pads.... what I do like about the SRR one is it is easily emptied....

however I like the Endyn Moroso idea where you don't have to drain the can since the collected oil is sucked back into the pan....

Disconnect the sight glass from the top (just the rubber tubing not the elbow), swing 180 degree and pour the oil out.

This may sound stupid, but whats the reason for a catch can? I see and understand how it works. Looks like its help keep the intake manifold clean? I am new to this idea.
