jet some navel jelly, rips the **** out of rust. or cut it out and weld a new piece of metal in dere. the navel jelly (its a pink goo) will take paint off like no tomorrow so be careful
Sorry can't really help you on how to fix that but;
Parking your car inside(looks like under ground parking) with the salt+rust on the car will just make it rust faster. I know I know its impossible to get rid of toronto salt.If you leave it outside it won't rust as fast.
I know a guy in hamilton who can fix that for you for pretty cheap if you want his # just im me...all he does is take rusted crx's/civics and fixes them up.
You should Rust Check the rest of the car as it will help slow/stop most of that,I mean like go to the actual deal and have them spray it not the little cans from can tire...as long as the floor is still good then the rest is easy to fix as it looks like most of it is just on the replaceable panels like said above(door, trunk, fenders).Even your quarter panels don't LOOK too bad.
but once it starts on the rockers and floors then its a lot of work
If you don't do any work now I'd say look for any rust on the rockers/floor,remove it and just paint it.
Also I know you like going to the track...so pay attention to where the trailing arm attaches to the body if you see any rust around there take care of that as well because they tend to rot there.
good luck

Ha, ur screwed! Rust is the same as cancer, you can get rid of it for a while but its always coming back, the best idea would be to get a new car or new body panels..
that prolly makes you
but thats how it is...
and wash your car better

Altoid is correct. I just discovered naval jelly and it eats rust like a ravenous beast. You'll probably have to do a little sanding before you use it though, for it to be most effective. Well, thats for you to figure out.
After you get it all fixed up, keep after chips in the paint and keep the car well waxed. That will help protect it in the future.

If its there, its hard to get rid of....unless in small portions....on your car its in many places.......Just get a new car....i know its easier said then done...
Anywhere where the rust is severe, you need to cut out the sheet metal and weld in new sheet. Anywhere else, you need to grind the rust right off. If you use a corrosive or anything, it's just a starter, you need to grind it to bare metal. There can be absolutely no spec of rust left when you are done.
Any half assed attempt to fix the rust will only result in it coming back next winter, as bad as ever.

the floorpan is fine...
when my pads and CV boot was replaced i looked undernieth and it didn't seem to be rusted.. actually pretty good shape...
the rust is just the paint.. i dont' think it's eating the metal yet... but when i looked i took a piece off and there seems to be some sorta pink stuff and then grey then paint..
buying a new car would be sorta useless... since the car onl yhas 160 000 KMS on it... it's still driveable... and the interior is still mint...
the rest of the car is fine but those spots =*(
