Default Bad Day At the Track

Ever have one of those days at the track. I unload the car from the trailer, the hitch breaks loose, and trailer smacks the back of my truck. Now I get the Lude on the ground, check my tire pressures, can go to re crank the car, and its dead. it had just been running to drive off the trailer.

Battery is old and now is dead, I jump it off with my jump box, and the lude will not stay running. I get it running, and pull in to stage, and 3 feet from the staging lights it shuts off again. Now imagine the feeling of all those eyes watching you get out and use your jump box to crank your car while on the track.

Get it running and stage, Launch is decent, RT wasnt bad, but tires spin a little (never done that before) Get to the end of the track, and tach falls to 0 and engine shuts off. I coast to the turn around and car wont start even tried a rolling restart. get my run slip (win) and car shuts off again. Get it running and get almost back to the truck in the pits, car cuts off again.

I pull the battery and its dead as a door nail. I put the jump box on and it fires right up. car is not charging, and wont stay running. After only 1 pass I get it running good enough to get on the trailer.

Then it starts raining, and now the sun roof wont close. not a great night

Considering that I had a bad launch I still got a weak 11.5

Car now has a new battery and cables and works good.
