Default H22 or B16a in 91 civic hatch

i was thinking about what kind of engine i should put into my 91 civic hatch.....i was thinking about swapping a b16a into it but then i got the idea of putting in an H22 instead.....i know that is takes up a lot more space inside than the b16a and i've also heard that the extra weight of the engine is going to make the car handle worse than it should......i want to know what do i have to do to make this engine fit into my car and if swapping it in is really worth it....

h22- w/ the right suspension there shouldn't be handling concerns from everything I've seen & you would have a quick ride then

i would go with the b16.. it is cheaper.. u will have less custom stuff needed to be done.... and with all the extra money u can use for upgrades...

The h22 is a trash motor compaired to the b series. It is a very fast motor for a honda in its stock form though. If you dont plan on doing anything to the motor besides just putting it in the car then go h22 other wise go b16 or even lsvtec. Just my opinion.

an h22a in your civic would be pretty nuts and you would be able to smoke some cars.even with the b series you could..iuf you got money i would go h22a just because its a crazy swap..i didnt have the money so i did b16 which flys in my car..so if you got the $ and fabrication talents, give the h22 some

b16 for street racing.....h22 for drag....i say that because the h22 doesnt have a good turn ratio when it is in our small little cars....you will be turning and your tire would be hitting part of the engine.....if you go straight....everthing would be fine....
