My car runs like ASS now.......any suggestions?
i had a problem with the fuel presssure stuck at 50 psi beucase i have a b and m regulator. so i posted it on honda-tech. someone gave me the link to the endyn webite.

so i decided, what the hell, drill the hole and see what happens. after i drilled it and installed it back in. the pressure dropped back down to 40 psi and it seemed to run alot smoother because it wasnt running as rich. so i take it for a spin and it barely boosts in 1st gear. 2-5th gear feels much slower in boost. suggestions guys?
i have a feeling that im running lean because i drilled the hole in the fpr. should i upgrade to a aem? i dont want to waste money on a new fpr when it was something else that was wrong in the first place.
stuff that i checked.......
1.took out my plugs and noticed the tip of them were white gray but the sides around them was black
2. i checked to vaccum leaks and noticed nothing because i zip tide everything.
3. tighten all the piping
4. even took off my boost controller to run it off the wastegate
5. fuel pump is still working

Where is the inline pump at?? Why do people actually think the walbro will be able to handle 100+ psi of fuel pressure, why, why ,why????
Well I don't know if you guys know but the factory FPR is a 1:1 rising regulator. What does that mean? It means that the fuel pressure rises to boost. My factory regulator idles around 40-45 and rises to 60-65 when at full boost. Which is 15 psi all day!
How big did you drill the hole?
And not all factory regulators are 1:1. Some of them don't rise AT ALL under boost. It's a crapshoot, IMO. Get a real 1:1 like the AEM or the Aeromotive. The stock FPR is already very limited by it's very small return path.

i got a aem fpr today and its much better then stock. i was told it was ok to run the walboro pump because it was the high pressure one. the car boosts alot better now with the aem fpr. 1st gear seems kind of lagging though.
how much would a shop charge to do a compression test?

I was under the impression that the Walbro wouldn't be able to keep up with the fmu. Inline pumps are cheap, you might want to think about picking one up.
