What Type Of Coilovers to use?(SEARCH does not work, no flames plz)
What is everyones opinion on what type of coilovers to use. I plan on keeping my stock shocks for about a month or two(till i get more cash), so i wouldnt minds GC's..
Ground Controls with 450/550 springs is this a good combo? what rate of springs should i use? Plan on using them with Koni Yellows.
Or skunk2's coilovers???
Save up for Teins???

What do you do with the car? What do you need the suspension for?
There are far too many choices and there is no one "all around great" suspension.

Also, out of the 3 you mentioned, I would go with the GC's.
A good "cheap" set up would be Bilsteins, with GC's #'s 400(f) 500(r) or the 450 550 as you mentioned..
The Expo will be the first time I've actually driven it in the longest time. (Sigh.)
Go JDM!
THanks,
Victor
I would like to do a bit of Autox. Plz holdthe flmaes but i got 18" oz's for my daily wheels, 15's for auto x.
So ground control, with bilsteins? with 450-550 setup sound good?

My car is prepared primarily for autox. I am using the TODA Racing FIGHTEX Tyope FS coilovers. 10k front andf 8k rear spring rates. These are absolutely fabulous...

I used to have Koni with GC, I am not sure if I got the right parts for it, but it was pain in the *** to install. I am running the Tein NA now and I like it a lot better than the Koni/GC, even it is not a coilover.
Learn to drive with the stock suspension first. I once thought I wanted to upgrade my suspension before I had actually autocrossed it. Then I did my first event and realized how freaking awesome the stock suspension is. I plan on getting a few more autocross events and many track events before upgrading my suspension. Right now it seems like it is a pick between Zeal S6's and Buddy Club. If you are going to upgrade the already awesome stock setup at least know what you like and dislike about its characteristics so you can pick a setup suited to your driving style and preferences.
