Default Replacing Rods/Pistons?

How hard is it to replace rod and pistons? Is it possible to do it just by dropping the oil pan, and pulling the head? Also will I need to have the block hoaned or anything afterwards. I won't get overbore or anything, just STD. Was looking into this to get for my d15 daily driver. Looking for someone with some experiance in this. Thanks,
Matt

You can pull it off by just pulling the pan and head if the cylinder walls are still in good shape.

be sure to take careful measurements or else you'll end up with piston slap like myself and some other people on here. If this is your first time doing this, you're better off getting someone who knows how, to show you first.
