Fidanza Or JUN Ultra Lightweight Flywheels
I'm going to purchase a flywheel for my car. I know the Fidanza is lighter than the JUN ultra lightweight flywheel but since my car is also a daily driven car, I want something strong too. Which flywheel do you guys recommend to use? Thanks.
I have a fidanza, got it buy chance when I ruined my stock one. A guy at the shop that changed my clutch recommended it to me. jun is a chromoly flywheel which is light but there is a possibility that you may damage it later, then you would have to buy a new flywheel. the reason i think that fidanza is so popular is that it's an aluminium(soft lighter metal) flywheel with steel friction plates, which is why it's lighter than the jun. So if you damage the steel plate, you just buy new steel backings from fidanza. Also my fidanza was 8lbs when they measured it, and it made a huge improvement. The cm is very close to the fidanza, don't know its weight though. the clutchmasters is also an aluminum with steel backing product, different color though. hope this helps.
Fidanza makes Clutchmasters Flywheels.
Go with the Fidanza or CM. In this case the Jun isn't really worth it.

Hey,
My fidanza didn't have timing marks. I believe u have to put them on urself b4 the install, at least thats what I did.

clutchmasters weigh 8 lbs and have timing marks. i would assume fidanza has timing marks on it as well.
i took the liberty of painting the timing marks red so they show up better.

All I know is that my fidanza did not have timing marks. I talked to a shop about it b4 I put it on and they said they usually have to paint them on...

my CM flywheel had timing marks on it and was 8.5lbs, dunno if that helps. anyway i was hearing talk a while back about somebody having trouble with their aluminum FW cause the bolts wrang out the aluminum holes in the FW making it unbalanced. i havnt had any issues like this but can anybody add some input?
I'm looking at my Fidanza flywheel right now. There ARE timing marks cut onto the flywheel, but you're going to have to paint them in order for you to be able to see them once the flywheel is installed.
Get the JUN flywheel, it is well engineered, it is heavier for a reason because that is the best mass that can produce a good throttle response, also it retains enough interia to keep your engine spining, when your shifting through the gears, just remember the lighter the flywheel the more responsive it is but it will not hold the same inertia as the heavier flywheel, that will keep your engine in higher rpms and will not drop more than 1000 rpms between shifts, the lighter flywheel will do the opposite, it will drop over a 1000 rpms and you will be shifting into lower power bands.
HIGH-brid do you still have that flywheel for sale? If so let me know cause im looking for one right now let me know by email or on here asap
