ok, was trying to install my hondata and went to install the resistor on the r54 location, but it doesn not exist in my ecu, it is supposed to be right under the j1, but its not, its blank right there. also, my hondata kit didnt come with the 2 capacitors, was it supposed to or not?? 2k_teg said that he thought hondata mentioned something about them not being needed anymore or something, can anyone back that up??
Hondata needs to upgrade their website

 

P75 is same motherboard as P72 and neither have a R54. Don't worry about it.

 

ok, and what about me not getting the capacitors taht were supposed to be included with the kit?? i went to radioshack and bought some .1 uf capacitors, taht should work, but im not 100% sure i even need them if they werent included. and my j1 was already jumped from pyr when they chipped my ecu, so that is one less step for me

 

You dont need the caps. I have the same ECU, S200.

You don't need the caps, thats why they were not included. Make sure J1 is a zero value resistor or just a piece of wire and not a regular resistor of some unknown value.

 

ok, got it all done now, im ready to install the ecu!!!
