I heard that it doesn't do much on the b18c5, works better on b16's

but notheless, i have an oppotunity to pick one up....should I? What kind of gains would I see?

It is only meant to be used on B16's.

 

Are you sure? I think I've heard of some R's having them installed

 

It does fit on R's, but it doesn't do very much good. It was made for B16 like said before which has a slower piston speed and needs the help in the low end.

 

if you want a good increase from an IM gasket go with the Hondata (or similar)

 

Get it if it's a good deal. Torque is our friend

I remember my first b16a swap spun a bearing.When i re-assembled everything i noticed it had one i guess from when it was in japan.I guess it did good,i was getting 98mph trap speeds in my eg with minor bolt ons.
