I attempted to install my Earls brake lines a few weeks ago but it seemed that the mounting brackets were not in the same place as the stock units. Also it seems that the adapter that screws into the current brake line (not the caliper side) is quite different. I have the right lines because I called to check. Is there some way to adjust the bracket?
Never had the Earls lines, but the Goodridge lines on the last car were a simple remove and replace.
I have some of these now (Stop Tech lines) which I'll eventually be installing alond with the rest of the stuff from my old car (and new BC's when the get in).

Yep. The Stoptechs are nice. Coated also to reduce the chance for dirt to get inbetween the steel braids (fraying).
Or be an idiot like me and get APP lines ...
As BlueR would state, "I can't resist the bling". ?

I was very impressed with the Stoptech SS lines. DOT approved, perfect fitment, come with very good instructions, DOT approved (and stamped), pre-tested for leaks, teflon inner liner, abrasion resistant clear cover over the stainless steel braided line.

Anybody know anything about the fitment. Because I have a set and they fit like ****.
I know that it is the correct kit for my setup, however, I really don't like the way that they fit. I'll have to get a picture. Can anybody tell me if they have had problems with them?

I got problems with my Earl's lines too.
I'm not sure if it has to do with the fact that they are 98+ ITR lines and my Civic is using 97ITR rear discs.
The fronts haven't exhibited any problems but the rears are a pain in the ***. They don't appear to be long enuff and at the caliper end, they rub on the LCA. It's an awesome sawing motion. The bracket where a bolt is supposed to go through doesn't even reach!
I do not suspect they are any different [the lines] between 97/98 because my 97 ITR now has a set of 98+ rear calipers and the Neuspeed/Goodridge lines I have on them went on beautifully.
FARKING EARL's....

Thank you...!
I am having the same problem with the brackets on the front. They just don't reach properly. Rapidly starting to not like Earls...

I just insalled a set of the Goodrige lines on my hatch with the five lug. I used SI lines so my setup is pretty different but they worked great and bolted up no problems didn't need any instructions eigther.
I had to trade someone for the Goodrige lines though, because the lines I originally ordered from (G-Speed) who works at Pro Flow performance didn't show up untill after I finsihed putting everything together
.
I must say though that the lines that i got from him were of much better quility and came with what appeared to be better (stronger and beefier) fittings, and a protective coating over the Steel braids to keep out the dirt and dust (which my Goodrige lines did not have).----$85 shipped
So I have an extra set of SI steel braided lines I guess I am going to hang on to just incase
