whats lighter, a civic hb 92-95 or a del sol (same engines)

 

Hatchbacks are lighter, Del Sols doors are reinforced and the t-tops wiegh a **** load.

 

Not to mention the fact that hatchbacks are a lot more rigid. the rear glass in the Del Sol is operable which means that there is a big gap right in the middle of the car. The Del Sol looks cute but it has the worst handeling characteristics of any civic.

Agreed. Del Sols handle like doo doo. My clamshell handles very well.
