Just curious, how did your motor blow?

I just got word that I might have some bent valves after my crank pulley bolt broke in the crank, and messed up the timing...if worse comes to worse, I might just replace the head and use the other core to send out for P&P.

Is the head completely disassembled still?

you say you'll take less w/o cams.... how much less?

 

id love to take that head off your hands, but 650 is a bit high for a used head... how much will you take, cams not included?

 

the engine hydrolocked & broke a rod. There was no damage to the head.

$650 is shipped. Shipping a head is expensive. I've never sold a head though, and I just based the price on what I've seen other H22 heads go for. I'll take all offers though.

w/o cams, I'll knock off $75.

The head is not exactly taken apart, you just need to bolt the cams in. The valvetrain is installed, with the proper lash no less.

first buyer backed out. I still have the head, if anyone is interested.

I'll do $640 shipped for head and mani, or $600 shipped for just the head.

 

price is still a bit steep. i can get an h22a head with 30k miles for 450shipped. just some info and comparison for ya . the ecu you have. is it a p13? and what is the vtec engagement set at?
