Which turbo is suitable for a SOHC? A t3/t4 is a little extreme , I think. I want something that spools good and still delivers good top end. I have the GReddy kit (td04 i believe)and pull low 13's with only a 100MPH trap. I want to hit at least 105-110MPH traps and be well into the 12's, and yes.. with a SOHC

t3/t4 is not extreme for your setup. try a .50 trim w/ a 63 A/R housing...that will get you in the 12's.

Will it be able to spool up quikly? I know my friend has T3/T4 turbo ad it doesn't spool for ****, but i guess a .50 trim might spool good..

how much boost are you running too get into the low 13's??i assume this is with slicks, correct?

 

i think a t3/t4 would be a good balance of spool up and power for your application.

on another note, how much boost are you running for those 13s? are you just pushin really high boost with those internals or are they just a safety precaution and just buildup for more power in the future?

I use the T3 60 trim with a T3 .48A/R Stage 3 trim turbine. It spools quick enough (8psi@4000rpm) with my still (ugh) stock exhaust. It would spool quicker with a more suitable exhaust attached.

 

get the t28 or better the GT28

 

I'm running 12PSI, the low compression is for percaution and just part of the buildup. I didn't want to blow the motor again... And I run on MT Drags, gota love 'em

 

id go with either a Turbonetics T3/04b or Precision SC32.
