Readjusting valves
If you use the Snap-On tool, you can't get a ton of torque on the bolt, just snug it down tight. The way the tool is designed, I wouldn't worry about over-tightening unless you really go overboard and lean into it.

I adjust mine using a tool similar to the Snap-On tool, and then torque them to spec, I believe it's 13 lb-ft. I use an in-lbs. wrench set to 156 in-lbs. Then I re-check the clearance to make sure the screws didn't move when I torqued them.

I just impact gun them tight.
