Lightened stock flywheel
I'll be installing a new clutch soon, probably Exedy OEM and I'm thinking of resurfacing and lightening the stock flywheel. Does anyone have any experience with this? It is an H23 daily driver, no track use. I wouldn't want to lighten too much.
Also if anyone knows of any good machine shops in the Montreal area..

u can put it on a brake laithe to lighten it but then u will have to get it rebalanced.. i have one it works fine but i have no damn timing marks...
i read something about lightend flywheels....alot more cons than pros with it. it was in one of my honda tuning/ import tuners/ supersteet mags. they said alot of bad things and ended up comcluding that the oem is better.
i have a shop who lightens them.. has taken and i quote
"This is a flywheel from a F22/H22. Originally, it weighed around 19lbs however after we cut it down it weighed 13.4lbs. "
cost is 125 dollars. they are some good ppl and have done alot fo work for osme big power preludes and other cars
im me and ill give you their number/name/site
