Default skunk2 coilovers on stock itr shocks

im running stock ITR suspension on my 91 integra, i have the opportunity to get a set of skunk 2 coilover sleeves. btw they are for a 90-2000 integra

my question is would they even fit on ITR shocks? and how would the shocks hold up?

ill be running this set up untill i can afford a set of bilsteins

They will fit, they wont hold up for long and will give you an extremely bouncy ride.

On the Integra Skunk2 uses 10K front and 8K rear. That is roughly 550lb F and 440lb R. Compare that to GC which uses half that and that's why the ride is alot better. I say get them, but save up and get some revalved Koni Yellow's or off the shelf Bilsteins and swap the rates and run 8K front and 10K rear, but do not drop it more then 2" from stock height. The ride will be firm, but not bouncy. The reason skunk2's are bouncy on stock shocks is they are not valved for such stiff spring rates. The car would be very planted. If you are going for show, just get Ground Controls.

don't think the skunk2 will fit on the bilsteins. i tried it once and ended up using them on my koni shocks.

What characteristic of your car are you trying to change by changing the suspension?

well the reason im using the ITR suspension on my 2nd gen is the fact that there is pretty much nothing suspension wise for a 2nd gen.

my car with the ITR suspension is stiffer than on a type R but i want something stiffer and i want the ability to adjust the rideheight.

hopefully my set up will consist of
skunk 2 soilovers
bilstein shocks
Progress swaybars
all tie bars
autopower roll bar
