Default Moving off in 1st gear

I have a 94 accord 5 speed. Moving off in 1st gear is difficult. The car jerks alot and sometimes feels like it is hesitating I have to give it more gas just to move off and then it feels like the clutch hasn't released. Second gear does it sometime too. Other then just moving off the car runs great goes into every gear without a problem. Could this be my tranny?

Are you new to driving manual? Or is this a problem that has just started?

I just brought the car. From experience, I know this should not be happening. Maybe it is the clutch. What do you think?

well if it's anything like my 93 the clutch is selective, sometimes it catches right off the floor, other times it's pretty normal, my friend drove my car and it took him a while to not jerk us all over when we were stuck in traffic coming back up from New Orleans. But yeah I think it's a Honda thing, you'll get used to it...
