electric lock problems??? HELP
Hey guys my locks on my 96 keep locking and locking and locking it must lock 40 times in 5 minutes i have no idea what is wrong please help
It is hard to say what it will cost you ... but my guess would be around $60.00 or so (for the part ... NOT including labor). It is attached to the driver's door latch. You have to remove the door panel and put the window in its utmost up position to access it. The easiest way to replace it is to remove the lower metal window channel run and remove the 3 screws holding the latch to the door. You can then bend it around enough to remove the screws that hold it to the latch. Not too easy to try to tell you how to do it exactly ... but that will give you a general idea.
Most garages will charge you an hours labor to replace this part.
