Problems with Comptech 22mm rear sway bar
Those with the comptech 22mm rear sway bar, do you have any problems with clunking noises whenever you go over bumps or rough streets? I've tried time and time again readjusting the endlinks, the swaybar mounts, etc. but nothing seems to fix the problem. Any solutions?
do you have it mounted upside down?
common mistake, to not have the bends over the LCA's the correct side up...
that could be the problem..

The clunking noise is a fairly common complaint with the Comptech rear swaybar. The clunking noise is coming from the endlinks. The endlinks are rod endlinks which are basically solid enlinks with a swivel joint at each end. The problem is that the swivel joint begin to wear from road dirt, grit and grim working there way into the joint. Eventually the joint wear enough that they begin to make a clunking noise. The only solution is to purchase new endlinks. I have heard from a few people that they have to replace the endlinks every 6-12 months. I actually know of someone that switched from the Comptech 22mm rear swaybar to the Type-R rear 22mm rear swaybar because of the clunking noise from the enlinks.

Will the type-r endlinks work with the comptech bar? It should be the same bar right? I've heard that Comptech just rebadges the type-r bar.
How long have you had your Comptech swaybar?
