Why do you want '88 LCA's? Are there benefits to those arms?

I'd like to find some with the bushings already installed. I need the LCAS because the shocks mount differently and I have some ITR shocks/Neuspeed springs to put on my daily beater 1990 Civic Wagon.

I have a pair w/o the sway bar mounts. However i was able to add a spacer inside the LCA that a bolt went all the way through. It worked fine on my 88 DX. Where are you? I'm in NC 27529

Why are they 'cool'? I always thought the 89+ LCA's were better.

89+ have more US aftermarket support but 88s had passive rear steering like the ITR. We didn't keep it in the US because we didn't like the "twitchy" feel the car had. Sucks for us now we all want it again lol. If you wanna use parts like Tein coilovers, etc you usually need the 88 arms (with a few exceptions).

Yes I believe European and JDM models all had the ITR style from 88-91, both the US and Canada didn't after 88 because people complained about the "twitchy" feel. Unfortunately this was the passive rear steering that was actually an advantage.

I'm 99.9 percent sure that Canadian 89+ DO NOT have the ITR style LCA's. All the ones I see here are different. My 89 CRX Si's LCAs were much different than my brother's 88's.

If its stamped steel its the ITR, if its cast its the USDM '89 and newer. '88 was the only year the USDM had the ITR lower control arms. I have a set taken from my '88 DX HB
